Nice to Meet you
About Me
With over a decade of experience, I specialize in guiding individuals, couples, and families on their journey to healing. I am dedicated to providing support and insights that foster connection and resilience. Together, we can navigate these challenges and work towards a more fulfilling life.

My interest in psychotherapy was sparked by the profound loss of two pets in quick succession. Struggling to find a clinician who specialized in pet grief, I felt compelled to return to school and become a therapist myself, aiming to provide support for grieving pet parents. If I faced difficulties in finding help, surely others were experiencing the same, right?

EXPERTISE
Pet Loss
I had the distinct honor of being mentored by Dr. Wallace Sife, the author of "Loss of a Pet" and the founder of the Association for Pet Loss & Bereavement (APLB). Subsequently, I became a board member and co-creator/instructor of the Pet Loss Grief Specialist course, collaborating closely with President Colleen Rolland and VP Dr. Michelle Crossley.
General Training
My clinical was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Rod Amiri, specializing in addiction, and at the Antioch University Counseling Center. There, I gained valuable experience in the main clinic, middle schools, and the Culver City Senior Center. Following my licensure, I was invited to continue my association with AUCC, where I now have the privilege of mentoring clinicians in training.
Public Figure
I have effectively shared my expertise with various news outlets and podcasts, contributing to a broader understanding of mental health & the human-animal bond in particular.
